Ahh there I was with one of my Couture clients on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, France. About to enter the "Louis Vutton" store. This was her favourite designer and we were about to partake in the remainder of her day in Paris. She hesitated at the doors. Why? Maybe because of the security on the other side. Maybe? The doors open. You could almost hear the "ahhhh" like Angels singing. You could feel the vibration level raise as you entered. Hmm...exactly what I envisioned for her. We walked up the stairs with these beautiful French ladies all outfitted in Louis Vuitton apparel. "Bonjour Madame" Beautiful. I was so expecting my client to have an amazing experience. What I wasn't expecting was what was to happen next. As we turn at the top of the staircase. I am drawn to the end of the store. There sitting on a shelf...lingering beneath the special lights, were the most amazing shoes I have ever seen. They were calling my name. I started to be pulled in like a tracker beam to the other end of the store. As I passed the beauty around me. The circular luxurious and plush sofa, I could feel the energy of the sacred call of magnificent beauty. There they were. Ahh beauty. I stood with my mouth ajar. I am sure there was drool. I could smell her leather. Were they blue? Were they purple? Its as if they could change colours in front of my eyes. I sensed someone come along side me. Then I heard "They called your name." I turn to see the most adorable French woman in her Louis Vuitton outfit. "How did she know they called me?" I looked over and saw my client watching and smiling. Knowing all the while...hmm...this was now my experience and she was experiencing me in mine. I was very conscious of this now. Yet still in a state of awe. I responded. "Yes they did." I asked her, "Do you have a pair?" She laughed and said, 'No, I could not afford a pair of these shoes. They are the from the new season." I thought to myself of course Leona. You would be drawn to the new season. And I could not see a price anywhere. I hesitated and then picked up the shoe so lovingly. Wow! Beautiful! "Would you like to try them on?", she asked. My mind was whirly. This whole conversation was going on in my head. If I do then I am S.O.L. Yet I so want to. Back and forth, back and forth. All the while conscious of my client's eyes upon me. I took a deep breathe and responded, "yes", "merci". She asked my size and then asked if we would enjoy some sparkling water or champagne. I looked at my client. We giggled and replied "sparkling water." I sat on the sofa nervously waiting for the shoes. Being in the moment as much as possible. Flying. Grounding. So surreal. She returned with our drinks. We sat and chatted about how amazing this was so far. Then she returned with a beautiful wooden box that had a leather handle for the drawer. She gently placed the box beside me and asked if I would like silk stockings. I said, "yes." She tapped the drawer next to me and it popped open. She lovingly pulled some stockings from the drawer and handed them to me. Wow! So soft. The she opened the box where the shoes lie. There were the shoes each in their own little sleeping bag. Wow! Inside I was giddy. Like a kid on Christmas morning. She handed me the first shoe and it glided onto my foot like butter. Ohhh so perfect. Then the second. I am so done. Perfect fit. Like nothing I have ever had on my feet. I stood and looked in the mirror. I instantly dropped 20 lbs. Trick mirrors? No pure perfection. It was like all eyes in the store stopped and looked at me and the shoes. The young employee had her hands to her mouth and was in awe. She said "This is the first time I have seen them on someone and they are magnificent!" My client was also in awe of their beauty. I walked around the store. I felt like a million bucks. I felt transformed. I couldn't help but look at myself. Others couldn't help but stare. My client says to me, "Imagine meeting your clients in Paris with those shoes on." Ahhh yes I could. They felt like they were home. Just like I was. Still in my head was this whisper of a conversation. How much? Oh my how much? The young employee said, "Would you like to purchase them?" I replied, "Yes." Yes I would love to purchase them. I couldn't believe the words that came out of my mouth. Without hesitation I was saying yes. Wow! I have come a long way in six months. I chuckled to myself. I loved feeling this way. So now the young Louis Vuitton employee asked for my passport so she could prepare the paperwork for the shoes. Oh my paperwork for the shoes. Like a birth certificate? lol Well for taxes and the Authentication Papers. My head was whirly again, I had to sit down. I still had no idea how much? Did it matter? I removed the shoes and she put them back into their sleeping bags and into the box and she was off to the back. I sat and sipped my sparkling water. My client was giddy and in awe of what was happening. My client's day was turning in to my day. Yet she was having a transformative experience watching me. Amazing! Watching me saying yes to me. Hmm. There is quite a power in that. Well soon we were to meet at the til. While the shoes were escorted by the Louis Vuitton employee and another was ringing me up. I stood in awe of myself and felt quite comfortable with this experience. The lady asked, "Would you like to pay in Euros or Canadian Dollars?" I opted for dollars. I might as well know the full amount. She said, "That will be $1194." I thought, that's it! Wow! I have come along way. lol Leaving the store with Louis Vuitton in my hands and my client by my side. I felt as though I had transcended another level of my evolution. For me that day was a testament to keep following my heart and saying yes to the things I desire. Why? Why not? Life is meant for living and experiencing. You might as well be experiencing what you desire.
And what about Louis? Well Louis is in Paris waiting. Waiting for me to appear again this summer. To attend events, meet new clients, to live life to the fullest. Louis is waiting in the Paris apartment for me to return. Every morning Louis is greeted by his security who says, "Bonjour Monsieur Louis Vuitton. Ca va?"
